Men's Issue's

Men, in general, can have difficulty talking about their problems. The roots of this difficulty spread from many sources. Some mental health professionals believe certain social and cultural norms as well as rigid beliefs about masculinity may prevent men from seeking help. But, today, more men than ever before are seeking some form of therapy for their issues.

A question one might ask here is, what are considered “men’s issues?” In this modern age we see men from all walks of life dealing with stress/anxiety related to, for example; their finances and being a provider, expectations from work and family, being a father and spouse. The list goes on and these issues are not new. However, when we fall short, or perceive short-coming, in any of these areas, either in our own or someone else's eyes, feelings of inadequacy, negative self-worth, low self-esteem, even guilt and shame can manifest in unhealthy, even toxic behaviors.

** Hypnotherapy is not a primary treatment or substitute treatment if you are experiencing addiction. Hypnotherapy is done only as adjunct support for someone experiencing addiction.

...first, know you are not alone. Secondly, you are just a phone call away from beginning a journey that all men instinctively know they must take. A journey to face themselves and make the changes in their lives they know will be for their best life.

This is where Hypnotherapy can be an effective therapy since it works with the behaviors at the subconscious level. And, hypnotherapy provides logical results because it is science-based reasoning. And, for men, logical results have a nice ring to it.

Using hypnosis, one can drop beneath the rational part of our mind.  It’s easy at times to get hung up on not understanding why we do something or why we feel something, especially when it doesn’t make rational sense. Working with a hypnotherapist you are able to access the place in the mind where emotional beliefs can run amok.

Together we will come up with positive suggestions and you will learn to reframe the emotional beliefs that had triggered negative behaviors. As the positive suggestions become the new habits, the life changes you begin to experience will affirm that you are on the right path and ready to lead the life you’ve always desired.
